After administering a local anaesthetic to ensure your comfort, our specialists use a state-of-the-art hollow needle with a micromotor to carefully loosen the follicular units before removal.

This tool is meticulously calibrated to suit your individual hair structure, ensuring a tailored and minimally invasive approach. For thicker hair, a needle with a diameter of approximately 0.8 mm is used, while thinner hair requires a finer needle, measuring between 0.7 mm and 0.75 mm.

At Elithair, this step is performed by a specialised team of three employees with clearly assigned tasks: One specialist extracts the previously loosened grafts, while a second person counts the grafts directly on a pad on the back of the hand. The pad is divided into four rows of 25 grafts each (a total of 100 grafts per pad). The third person monitors the correct total number, documents the extraction, and performs quality control.

Once all grafts have been extracted, a senior physician performs a double check. Only after final approval is the used material disposed of and the process documented.
