This can be done mechanically (e.g., by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/topics\/biochemistry-genetics-and-molecular-biology\/centrifugation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">centrifugation<\/a>) or enzymatically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Injection into the scalp<br>\u2013 The processed cells or the microfat obtained from them are injected specifically into hairless or thinning areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This technique is often used in combination with a hair transplant to further stimulate the transplanted hair and support the healing tissue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-does-the-research-say\">What Does the Research Say?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Scientific research into this method is still in its infancy, but shows promising approaches:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Studies show that ADSCs\u00a0can increase hair density in patients with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/elithair.com\/uk\/blog\/androgenetic-alopecia-our-guide\/\">androgenetic alopecia<\/a> \u2013 but only to a limited extent and with individual response.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other studies suggest that a combination of <a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC11335044\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transplantation and ADSC injections<\/a> can positively influence the healing and growth of the transplanted grafts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC8641019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nanofat therapy<\/a> \u2013 a variant using particularly finely processed fat \u2013 is also currently being investigated in studies, especially with regard to its regenerative effect on skin and hair follicles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, it remains true that long-term and large-scale clinical trials are still lacking. In particular, the established methods\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/elithair.com\/uk\/technique\/fue-hair-transplant\/\">FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/elithair.com\/uk\/technique\/dhi-hair-transplant\/\">DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)<\/a>\u00a0achieve natural and aesthetically convincing results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FUE: gentle extraction of individual hair follicles, minimally invasive and with few scars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DHI: direct implantation with high control over growth direction and density<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both methods allow for precise shaping of the hairline and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/elithair.com\/uk\/hair-transplant-before-after\/\">lasting results<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 without an artificial look.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nanofat is also increasingly used in aesthetic medicine, for example for facial skin rejuvenation. However, the use of fat stem cells in hair medicine is still in its infancy \u2013 research is ongoing, but successes have so far been limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion-innovative-but-not-yet-a-replacement-for-transplants\">Conclusion: Innovative, But Not Yet a Replacement for Transplants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea of \u200b\u200busing the body&#8217;s own fat to promote hair growth is fascinating and shows how far hair medicine has progressed. Initial studies confirm the regenerative potential of fat stem cells \u2013 but widespread, standardised use is not yet realistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone looking for a reliable solution to hair loss today should rely on proven methods such as modern hair transplantation.
